Founded in 2014, Fuel Athletics and Flux Dance Company were designed from the ground up to be a better program. We demand a safe, positive and fulfilling environment for our athletes and we demand coaches that are the best at what they do, not just by accomplishments, but by who they are, and what they bring to those around them.
Fuel Athletics and Flux Dance Company are All-Star Cheerleading / Dance programs located in Altamonte Springs, Florida. We serve all of Orlando including Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Lake Mary, Casselberry, Winter Springs, Winter Park and surrounding areas.

Competition Cheerleading and Dance is very popular, especially in Orlando and Central Florida, and our competitor gyms mostly operate the same way. Here is how we stand apart from them:
We don't scream at our athletes or make them feel like they are replaceable. We value family time outside of the gym, and we are committed to their success both inside and outside of them. We are genuine. We are supportive.
To keep costs down, we never attend competitions that require airfare travel or "stay-to-play" travel/hotels, saving our customers thousands of dollars. We also avoid mandatory practice wear and other unnecessary apparel costs. The average "cost per season" at Fuel/Flux is one of the lowest in the industry.
Winning is not our only priority. We don't level down athletes for a winning advantage, and we don't give lower level teams basic "cookie cutter" routines. We encourage athletes to progress, level up, and challenge themselves with original and creative choreography. Our athletes progress and they have fun doing it.
Cheer and Dance should be a positive experience where athletes learn to work together as a team and support each other to accomplish goals. We don't tolerate negativity or bullying from athletes or parents. We support other programs at events. Most importantly, we don't pit athletes against each other for positions on a team and we don't favor one team over another.
Teaching skills properly and with proper skill progressions is key. We have structured classes and practices that focus on technique. We don't force athletes to do skills that they are not prepared for and we don't compete injured athletes in ways that will further injure them. Winning is great, but not at the cost of our athletes.
While we have athletes who join at all ages, the majority of our athletes have grown up in our gym. Our athletes are happy, thriving, and love their gym. While we have brought in coaches from outside the program, the majority of our coaches are adults who have grown up in our gym, are happy, thriving, and love to share their passion with the next generation of athletes.
Fuel & Flux athletes tend to fall in love with the sport and many of them become coaches, cheer and dance in college, or even end up performing professionally.

What is All-Star Cheerleading?
All-star cheerleading and dance have evolved into a highly competitive, independent discipline focusing on athletic performance. Unlike school teams, these club-based programs recruit athletes for synchronized routines blending tumbling, stunting, and dance. A premier event that we attend, the Allstar World Championship, brings together teams in Orlando, emphasizing inclusion and high-production competition. Beyond the competition, the community fosters personal growth and highlights the development of teamwork and lasting relationships.
